Travis & Emily Mitten
Travis and Emily Mitten joined Bible Basics in 2005 and have completed language training. They have moved to Roatan, Honduras to minister to the people of the island as well as to help with the day-to-day operations at Radio HRGS.
Travis and Emily are both graduates of Clearwater Christian College in Clearwater, Florida. They were married in 1995, and have been blessed by God with four wonderful daughters. For nearly ten years, Travis was pastor of Keystone Bible Church in Odessa, FL, not far from the headquarters of Bible Basics International. This close proximity allowed for the Mittens to develop friendships within BBI even before God lead them to join the mission in November of 2005.
Prior to leaving for language school, one of Travis’ projects had been the development of a discipleship course for use on BBI’s STAR Team evangelistic missions trips (pictured below). For more information about these trips please Click Here or on the STAR Team link at the top of the page.

Grounded in Christ is a foundational study for believers in Christ. Instead of trying to understand a list of seemingly un-connected “dos, don’ts, and doctrines,” it examines the Christian life through the lens of our relationship to God and His eternal plans. The reader is encouraged to understand and apply eternal spiritual truths that will guide them in all of life. |
