Jerry & Mildred Petersen

Jerry and Mildred Petersen joined Bible Basics in 1999. Jerry had spent the previous 23 years making aluminum beverage cans – working in chemical processing, then as a mechanic, and later as an electrician. Jerry spent his final four years in the business supervising electricians and millwrights as well as working in the engineering department. All those experiences helped to prepare him for the work God had planned for him at Bible Basics.

Upon joining BBI, Mildred worked at the front desk of the home office. She answered the phone, kept the mailing list current, and also helped with some of the financial record keeping.

Jerry worked in both English and Spanish radio production. His main responsibility was producing A Través de la Biblia, the Spanish version of Dr. J. Vernon McGee's popular Thru the Bible radio program.
