In 1998 Bible Basics took an important step when we entered into a partnership with Missions India. Now, Missions India, an indigenous interdenominational organization, is able to represent Bible Basics International in India while BBI represents Missions India in the United States.

Founded and directed by Dr. George Cherian, Missions India has over 400 missionaries serving throughout the nation in church planting and revival ministries. Most of the approximately 120 new churches meet in homes, but Missions India has built or is in the process of building at least 20 church structures.

Missions India also has a thriving print ministry. Missions India has translated and printed several of BBI’s books into the Hindi, Malayalam, and Punjabi languages. Revival & Missions is a bi-monthly, English Magazine published by Missions India which has attracted wide readership. Thousands of readers have also been inspired by reading Navajeevodayam, a magazine printed in Malayalam. indian man at printing press

Thanks to very generous contributions BBI Missions India now has a new training center for training national missionaries. In India foreign missionaries are not allowed, so this new training center is vital to the outreach to India. There Indian nationals can be trained to reach their own people for Christ.

Missions India’s other activities include schools, medicine, orphanages, drinking water, radio, and a ministry to war-torn Nepal. For more information on Missions India, visit their web site by clicking on this link: Missions India
