Togo Trip, Update #1

Dear Prayer Partners,

I know I should have given some closure to the Honduras STAR team trip. I got home on Friday night ahead of the rest of the team. I got all my clothes washed up and was repacking my suitcase on Sunday afternoon. I misled all of you by stating that my flight to Togo was leaving Tampa on Monday morning. I was granted a 12 hour reprieve because the flight is not leaving until tonight. I am here at good old Tampa International with John Collinson, our radio engineer. We leave Tampa for Atlanta in 45 minutes. We take off from Atlanta for Accra, Ghana, at 11:55 pm and will be touching down in Ghana at 1:40 pm local time. That’s about a 9 hour flight. That’s as long as I want to be on a plane.

We’re excited about this amazing opportunity. God is sending us on this mission. He knows what He wants to see accomplished. We are trusting Him to show us what we need to see.

Oh, by the way, there were over 1000 salvation decisions in San Pedro Sula, Honduras last week. Praise the Lord for His amazing power. I will try to talk to you as much as possible along the way.
